Schools Introduce Coding Classes for Young Students

Primary schools will begin teaching the basics of coding next term, using games and simple projects.

Teachers will receive short training courses, and the lessons will not need expensive equipment.

Education officials said the aim is to build confidence and problem-solving skills, not to turn every child into a programmer.

Parents can see the lesson plans on the school websites from next week.
