Youth Football League Opens Its New Season This Weekend

More than forty teams will take part when the youth football league opens its new season on Saturday morning.

Organisers said there are now separate leagues for several age groups, so every player can find a team at the right level.

Volunteer coaches have completed a safety course, and every ground will have a first aid kit.

Spectators are welcome. Entry is free, and refreshments will be sold to raise money for new kit.
